As we started on our journey to Sindhupalchok, we found the sights on the way to be terribly heart-wrenching. 63,885 private houses have completely collapsed and 2,751 houses are partially destroyed in Sindhupalchok. Other parts of the country like Dolakha, Barpak, Rasuwa and Kavrepalanchok have seen equally catastrophic fate. Even the major landmarks in Nepal, including the world cultural heritages and Dharahara have collapsed to the ground.
