It has been less than two months since the devastating major earthquakes in Nepal, and already this crisis is fading from headline news. The situation in the country is still critical, and with the monsoon season upon them the Nepalese people face the very real dangers of landslides, malnutrition and disease.
In response to the following e-mail from my good friend in Nepal, Gokul Thapa, the desire to help in a direct way was overwhelming. Since the earthquakes Thapa has been working relentlessly alongside Dayula Sherpa and Humanitarian Dr. Fahim Rahim, who leads the coalition “Nepal A United Voice of Hope and Strength”.
