Michael Clarke has promised the entire world in his retirement speech that he would like to do some wonders in the pitch with the croquet mallet right on next Ashes collision in the year 2017/18, Australia……..hopefully he will fulfill his promise. The decision he took for batting after winning the toss in Edgbaston was absolute blunder. If he had followed England’s win after winning the toss and batting first in Edgbaston in one of the previous matches then he should have considered that Pietersen was present on that very team whether he bats well or not keeping him in the team itself is a bigger pressure for his opponents[Clarke himself admitted]. If Clarke would have rectified the toss decision and avoided batting first then things could have been proved that England Cricket team is standing right there where they were just before few months. Retirement is the only safe thing he could ever do after Ashes defeat??
